ANTIQUE Phonograph Amplifier Device patent 1924 BRISTOPHON with Microphone

This appears to be missing the original pick up arm I've seen in some pictures

it is missing 2 small brass screws to fix it to the base.

Previously owned by an avid radio enthusiast -

it looks like he converted it to a regular microphone amplifier? Microphone is probably an addition - looks like maybe an early telephone.

It will have to be sold as is for parts or repair?
