Rare Antique Art-Deco Feather Flapper Lady Pincushion/Half-
Doll with Coty Powder Box
Description:
This very rare and delicate Art-Deco style
glazed china pin cushion/powder box half doll depicts a young flapper lady looking
forward with her arms crossed over her chest, holding a yellow fan in her left
hand that matches a tiara of the same color.
She is wearing a red dress with feather details
around it with a gold metallic thread bow at her waist. She is set on an
empty powder box branded "Coty." The half doll itself is probably
marked, but I haven't undressed her.
Made in Germany, circa 1900.

Half Doll:2-¾ inches (7 cm) height.
Overall: 6-½ inches (16
cm) height.
Condition:
Original flapper lady with a tiny chip on her nose (See Pictures). Silk
skirt has typical damage due to the nature of the material. Otherwise, in very
good overall condition.
