Gorgeous vintage 1940's dress, made of looped ribbon in a dark red color. Stunning presentation with a figure skimming fit and midi length flared skirt. Tailored waist, short sleeves, metal zipper at side. High rounded neckline accented with a row of tightly woven loops. The bodice should have a slightly blousey, loose fit and there are belt loops at waist however the original belt is missing. The dress is see through with the open ribbon work, so you will need a slip or under-dress of some sort to wear with it. Dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in excellent vintage condition. A few areas of minor fade near hem and under arms, and one small speck of what appears to be white paint in the skirt. These are not noticeable at all when wearing and the presentation of this dress is gorgeous!! Please see all measurements below for a proper fit.
