O GAUGE BR Mk2 COACH BRAKE PANELS / SIDES (x2) for TRIANG BIG BIG TRAIN upgrade - 7mm Scale

This is an FK3d 3D printed item, using a fine ABS like resin. 2 brake side panels will be supplied (coach not included)

The photos show the panels attached to a Tri-ang Big Big Train Mk2 Coach from the 1960's (courtesy of a happy customer who had been looking for some of these to speed up his brake coach conversions). 

These are genuine photos and not digital representations. You simply need to smooth the rear edge of the sides, smooth off the tumblehome and then cut an aperture in the coach side. I used a junior hacksaw to cut the vertical cuts and a razor saw to cut the horizontal cut between the gutter rail and the side moulding (there is a nice slot there to guide the saw). The panels will then slot neatly into place within the aperture and can be glued and lightly sanded. The first photo is of the panels as they will be supplied, before any finishing / smoothing.

The panels have been designed to fit nicely onto a Tri-ang Big Big Train Coach and create a nice representation of a BR Mk2 brake coach using the same window profiles and moulding lines as the original Tri-ang coach.

Bear in mind the size of these items when looking at the detail in the photos.

This panels are 47mm tall, 183mm wide. There is a recess in the door sections to fit  window glazing (19mm x 12mm) [glazing not supplied].

These will be dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class as a large letter with suitable protective packaging.

These parts were commissioned to add detail to the Tri-ang Big Big Train coaches, but might also be suitable for other BR Mk2 coaches.
