A beautifully carved Late Victorian Triple Fusee, Chain Driven, Repeater, Winterhalder and Hofmeier Oak Cased Bracket Clock with Solid Silver dedication from Lord Egerton of Tatton. (Tatton Park, near Manchester).

The floral carvings of the case are of the highest quality and possibly it was a commission in recognition of the recipient of the clock's 41 years of Tatton Park Estate management.

There is a small retailers label on the back of the clock, 'Lloyd, Payne & Amiel; Wholesale Jewellers; Manchester'.


All in excellent condition, full working order, serviced, cleaned and polished.


The Movement is stamped W & H, Sch 6.

The clock has a 7 inch x 6 inch Brass Dial with Silvered Chapter Ring and Gilt Brass Spandrels.

Two subsidiary Dials: Chime/Silent and Time adjustment.

1/4 hour Westminster Chiming on four gongs with a 5th gong chiming the hours.

With a Repeater cord for activating the 1/4 hour and hour chimes.


Of compact size for such a clock, being 18 inches High, 12 inches Wide and 9.25 inches Deep.
