Up for bid is a game used baseball used on May 3, 2024 at Minute Maid Park.  This baseball was pitched by Kirby to Loperfido in the Bottom of the 5th inning.  This was Loperfido's 3rd career MLB game!  The baseball was thrown for 3 pitches.  

In this game, the Astros beat the Mariners 5 to 3.  Jorge Polanco and Dylan Moore hit Home Runs for the Mariners.  Jose Altuve collected his 300th career stolen base.  He joined a very rare club for those with 2000+ Hits, 300+ Stolen Bases, and a .300 Career Batting Average - Derek Jeter, Paul Molitor, Roberto Alomar.   

The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball.  The MLB authentication record is shown and can be found in the online database.
