On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made history by landing on the Moon. While a worldwide audience watched and listened, Armstrong stepped down onto the Moon’s surface and famously said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
