Rare first edition of “Seven Pillars of Wisdom a triumph” written by British Army officer and the Great War veteran T.E. Lawrence, more commonly known as “Lawrence of Arabia”. This book is an autobiographical account of Lawrence’s experiences while serving as a liaison officer with rebel forces during the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Turks of 1916 to 1918.


The dust jacket is a facsimile and protected by a Mylar sheath. Inner leaf marking from when it was given as a gift 89 years ago “Claire from Jean -Aup. ‘35”. The condition is over all very good. The binding has loosened some with age, and there are small discoloration spots on the pages. This Jonathan Cape published copy is perfect for reading, or it is an easy addition to any book collection.
