Vehicle Details

1979 International Harvester Scout II

Exceptionally solid Scout II originally from Oregon.

Many new parts added during my course of ownership.

All new fluids changed this spring.

345 V-8 motor, 2 bbl carb, runs great.

Dana 44 differentials front and rear with 3.07 gear ratios, great for highway cruising.

727 Automatic transmission.

Front disc brakes, power steering & brakes

New tires, battery, gas tank and recent tune up.

I do not have a back seat for this vehicle.

Fluid film was applied this spring to the underside of the Scout that's why it looks oily but this Scout does not have any oil or fluid leaks.

4x4 works as it should

All lights, blinkers, radio and heater works.

Tilt steering wheel

Very clean undercarriage

Very solid floors, frame and body mounts

All around good solid Scout.
