This is an antique original 18th century (1741) map of the county of Nottinghamshire, drawn by Thomas Badeslade and engraved by William H Toms for the Chorographia Britanniae. Sherwood Forest is described as Shire Wood Forest.

The map is partly hand-coloured, with descriptive text on the left. The map itself measures approx. 4.25 x 5.5 in. (11 x 14 cm.) and including the text on the left, it is approx. 6 x 5.5 in.

This is framed and glazed, and ready to hang on any wall.
