It is labelled as a 1TB unit, but has a 2TB disc. I don't remember when the disc was replaced. (Edit: I've found the disc was ordered 31 March 2020, so would probably have been fitted that April.)

I have just reconnected and powered it up it for a couple of hours to delete all the old recordings, tidy things up and check it still works.

Remote seems to be OK and has been reset to 1 (default).

The unit has the Custom Firmware installed (from hummy.tv). I've left this as many people who buy these boxes are CF users and I was reluctant to risk creating problems while trying to do the reformats, etc, involved in clearing it out. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it.)

Most of the CF packages have been removed, so it should function much as a standard unit.

The 'redring' package is still functional as the box had the filter in front of the display removed, so the brightness could be turned down by redring to extend it's life (they are prone to dimming with age).

There is also the 'fan' package, which runs the fan slowly all the time to keep the temperature more constant, and a couple of packages that prevent it from trying to get updates that are long defunct.
