Up for auction is this attractive matching pair of early , heavy quality Hinks bayonet fitting  duplex kerosene oil lamp burners . These are earlier models with separate winder shafts, predating those with 'compound winders' . They have integral shade galleries fixed to the burner base, with characteristic wide radial spokes.

Both are fully functional, winders work properly, extinguishers are complete and functional with all their springs and flaps present and correct .

Both are free from cracks, dents or broken parts. All the chimney grips are present and unbroken. Both take a standard 2&1/2 inch base chimney and have gallery for  4 inch base globe . Both fit standard Hinks bayonet collars  as well as Messengers and most other English bayonet collars.  

Both have ceramic white winder knob inserts with " Hinks Patent Duplex " on them.  Both burners have been fitted with new cork liners to the base (there for reducing heat transfer to the font, not for sealing ).

Clean but not recently cleaned, nice patina.

Ideal to complete a nice pair of earlier lamps .

Will be well packed.
