This is a marvellous example of an Onoto 5601 self filling fountain pen dating to around 1950. This wonderful blue marbled fountain pen is in superb condition . There is hardly any oxidation so that the ebonite is dark, rich and lustrous. The nib lays down a wet, medium semi flex line. The markings are visible though a little faded but the blue marbled celluloid is rich and deep. This pen has had new seals and corks and now fills and empties perfectly. This is a perfect pen to use or to add to a collection.

Please Note: This pen is a lovely, working example of a vintage pen. This pen may have micro scratches, dings or knocks but will write beautifully. To quote the french writer and philosopher Voltaire (1694-1778) " To hold a pen is to be at war". Regard any slight imperfections as the battle scars of the Victor.
