This is a clean Sony boombox that includes the remote and the original power cord. The battery compartment is clean. I tested the unit playing both a cassette tape and cds. The unit played the tape perfectly every time with good clean sound. The cd would play fine, I would stop it and when it started back up it sometimes said "no disc" on the display. This happened with several different disc, a couple would not play at all, the others would play fine one time and not the next. I do not currently have a cd lens cleaner to try and clean it to see if that is the issue. Due to this issue I am listing this for parts/ repair, as I noted above, it does work but has an issue with consistency. The radio played fine. I have included a video of it playing a cd. I could only add one video so I was not able to add one of it playing a tape.

A note on shipping... My goal
on shipping is to break even. I charge a small supply/handling fee to
recover some of the cost in getting the item shipped to you. I recycle
packing materials from local sources to help keep the cost as low as
possible. I do not increase the shipping cost to make additional money.
You pay what it cost me (usually a little less) for me to get the item
to you. Compare the total cost ( item cost + shipping) of my listing to
comparable listings. I believe that you will find that I offer a very
good value.
