On
display are two vintage booklets on trapping and they are as follows:
“Modern
Trapping & Fur Buying” by C.O.
Lippert. Copyright 1967. First edition. Published by C.O. Lippert in
Curwensville, PA. 55 pages. Illustrated. Paperback. Signed by the author
on page 5 as can be seen in the pictures. Measures 6” wide by 9” long. Has a
good spine. The front and back covers are in good condition with some light
brown fading on the edges. The inside pages have no rips, tears or stains and
have no brown fading on the page edges. The author states that this book has
been written in plain words to be of help to both the beginner and to the
average mature trapper. There have been many books written on trapping
different furbearing animals but not much as been said about the fur trade
end or from a fur dealers point of view. The booklet had been broken down into

Paperback The inside pages have no rips, tears or stains and have no brown
fading on the page edges. The front and back covers are in good condition. The
front cover has become detached from the spine about 3” from the bottom. The
inside pages are intact and are stapled along the spine. This is a book of
instruction telling how to trap, snare, and shoot fox. The book contains 21
chapters.
