Montana State Quarter
The Montana Quarter was the forty first coin in the State Quarter series. It was released on January 29, 2007 and features a bison skull. This is a sacred symbol for many of Montana’s Indian tribes. The background features some Montana landscape.
The Washington Quarter was the forty second coin in the State Quarter series. It was released on April 2, 2007 and features a leaping King Salmon. An active volcano called Mount Rainer is featured in the background. It is covered with more than 35 miles of snow and ice.
The Idaho Quarter was the forty third coin in the State Quarter series. It was released on June 4, 2007 and features the Peregrine Falcon. This was once an endangered species, but thanks to conservation efforts they can now be found throughout Idaho.
The Utah Quarter was the forty fifth coin in the State Quarter series. It was released on November 5, 2007 and features two locomotives moving towards the Golden Spike. This was the famous joining of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads.
