This special edition V7 MK is the signature vocal microphone for the one and only Myles Kennedy. Best known as frontman for stadium-filling rock-acts Alter Bridge and Slash of Guns ‘n Roses, has been touring the world for many years.
His experience, and expectations, ultimately led to this cooperation featuring the very same capsule technologies found within the acclaimed V7, including its specialized aluminium voice coil for a crisp and open vocal sound.
The V7 MK's sophisticated supercardioid capsule design features vast amounts of gain before feedback and helps isolate your voice from other instruments efficiently. This results in a much clearer sound no matter if you’re playing big arenas or small clubs. It’s narrow pickup pattern has proven to be a real lifesaver in loud clubs and noisy venues too.

Patented Integrated Shockmount
The V7 MK’s, patented shockmount efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, providing exceptionally low handling noise as compared to other mics in its class. This means you can feel free to move around on stage without fear of rumbles, pops, or anything other than your voice coming through.
Custom Roadworn Finish
With this special plating for a unique look and feel, the V7 MK’s roadworn finish makes an immediate impression on stage or in the studio.
All-Metal Housing & Bevelled Spring Steel Grille
The V7 MK’s road-ready design is all metal - no plastic parts here. The custom chassis’ high quality, highly durable zinc alloy is designed to hold up under on-stage stress for years, and the spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-free for perfect reliability. Plus, the roadworn finish makes an immediate impression on any stage.
The bevelled edge around the grille also prevents your mic from rolling around when you put it down on top of your amp or the stage floor.

absolutemusic was set up over ten years ago by a group of passionate audio professionals who wanted to deliver better service and greater savings on music gear than could be found anywhere else.
We’ve since grown into one of the UK’s leading music retailers and we've recently moved into a huge new two-storey superstore boasting three massive guitar display walls and dedicated departments for drums, guitars, DJ, live sound, synths & keyboards, hi-tech and accessories. We also have four guitar booths, two soundproofed drum booths, an in-house Guitar Workshop and a unique monitor-auditioning studio designed by acoustician Andy Munro.
Next door is our café and complex of rehearsal and tuition studios available for hire seven days a week, where we also run regular workshops, instrumental lessons, demo events and recording sessions. Soon to be added is a professional recording studio and control room.
Every member of our 50-strong absolutemusic team is an experienced musician or engineer who can offer you accurate, expert advice on anything from vintage guitars to the latest software. We pride ourselves on always recommending the right products for the job, most of which can be sent out on next-day delivery!
As well as our busy sales and studio departments, we have a super-supportive Technical Support department who can offer advice and help with your gear, and a flexible Hire Department offering a wide range of gear available for your upcoming events.

Shipping
We deliver all items, except items worth less than £30, by insured courier.
In most cases we can deliver items within a couple of working days. We will contact you should delivery be delayed. Exceptions may apply to non-mainland destinations, the very north of Scotland and non-UK destinations.
Before sending goods, we will contact you via email to let you know when we will be shipping and provide you with tracking information.
Most items are delivered on an overnight service ( 2-3 days for non-mainland UK and 3-5 days for mainland Europe ). If you are in the UK, but not on the mainland, a delivery surcharge may apply and the service may vary. This depends on item size and destination but for most items to Northern Ireland for instance, this surcharge is £10. For more details, please contact us.
