The OA-S50-AFH-SOL49 is a 49mm filter holder designed around the K&F Concept 49mm ND1000000 photographic solar filter. Other 49mm filters may fit but have not been tested.

The added feature of this particular filter holder is that it is based on our AFH design meaning that as well as causing no damage to the S50 when shutting down, it can quickly be flipped up and out of the way during periods of totality when shooting eclipses, and back into position once totality is ending.

You should never point your S50 directly at the Sun without an appropriate filter in place as this will permanently damage the imaging sensor in your S50.

The 'flip' feature of this filter holder is ONLY intended for use during a period of totality and we take no responsibilty for any damage to your equipment through unintended or mis-use of the filter holder.
