This version of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Prophecy Plus is considered by those who know as the greatest Les Paul Epiphone have ever made. Fitted with genuine Gibson Pickups, it sounds superb. It's also quite light for a Les Paul and has a (relatively) slim neck with a satin finish making this one of the most comfortable Les Pauls around.
In absolutely mint condition. Not a mark of any note on it. Professionally set up prior to sale and fitted with D'Addario EXL110 10-46 Gauge strings. This guitar has the lowest action of any guitar I have ever played yet no fret buzz. It really is a dream to play. Two original Gibson USA humbuckers ensure for fat humbucker sounds with no comparison. The Gibson 490R neck humbucker cannot deny their relationship to the legendary PAFs and with its transparent, airy sound is suited for inspiring Clean sounds as well as singing solos. The 498T in the bridge position is a little bit more of a brute and with pronounced upper mids and precise attack, every riff is powerfully articulated and represented.
The LockTone tone-o-matic bridge guarantees perfect intonation and string address, even when the guitar is tuned very low. Grover Rotomatics ensure for robust tuning stability.
