Strawberry, a prolific slugger, played 17 years in the Major Leagues with the New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and New York Yankees. He was an 8-Time All-Star, winning World Series Championships with the Mets in 1986 and the Yankees in 1996 and 1999. Finishing his career with 335 Home Runs and 1,000 Runs Batted In, he was inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame. Strawberry was the 1983 National League Rookie of the Year and led the National League in Home Runs in 1988.
