This travel and exploration age publication is lavishly illustrated with numerous engravings on steel and wood plates from original drawings by Harry Fenn and F.D. Woodward. One plate on heavy mat india paper has a panoramic view from a cemetery overlooking GAZA City, with a group meditating and reading a book {the Koran?}.
The softcover is printed in blue on heavy matte (india) paper and the pages are thick india wove paper. Much appreciated in its day judging by the reviews published on the cover (see images below).
