Native American ! & American Eagle !! G.D. Backstage Pass ... for Fall Tour '89 ! - 10/16/89 at the Meadowlands ! - right-on Bob Weir's 42nd Birthday !!! -- a " Nightfall Of Diamonds " Dead Show !!!!!

Grateful Dead Fans ! ... 1989 Tour !! Fans - & Fans of Gool Ol' Bobby Weir !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) - and Very-Special ! - Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the '89 Fall Tour Show at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey on October 16, 1989 ( 10/16/89 ) !!!  The Design on this Pass ... Wow !  Just-Amazing !! and is very-representative of the Pre-Reonegro Era.  In other words - more along the line of " Old-School " 1980's / Late-'80's Grateful Dead Passes - for lack of a better way to say it.  In fact, I am not certain who exactly the designer of this Beautiful ! Pass design was.  But ... this design is indeed Huge !  A subtle, yet very-detailed image of an Native American looking up & on ... and, held so steadily on his raised arm is an American Eagle ! just spreading its Wings !! - about to Fly !!!  To me, this is one of the Coolest ! G.D. Passes of all-time - but of course, just my opinion.  I believe it was used only one other time ? ... at Deer Creek on the '89 Summer Tour ??  I think that is correct, but - I could be wrong.  Just a solid " guess " from me - for you.  I love the colors used on this one too ... Stellar ! - and so incredibly Perfect ! for this image.  And, " Grateful Dead "... well, it reads Grateful Dead either-way that you look at this font !  From top to bottom ... or, from bottom to top !  So ... I really can't say too much more about this Pass - as it speaks very-well for itself !  However ... there are indeed a couple more Vital ! G.D. facts on this Beauty of a G.D. Pass ...  Firstly !!! This here is indeed Bobby Weir's Birthday Show we are talking about ... as, Lordy-Lordy ... look Who's? Forty .... Two !  Yep, 42 for Ace !!  And, being in Jersey & all ... that is one heck of a Party to look forward to ... and especially with this being the Legendary !!! Fall Tour '89 !!!!!  And, with that said ... I could talk about this Show !, and frankly most of this Meadowlands run, and the Whole Tour! for Hours!!?!  This indeed is the Dark Star > Playin' > Uncle John > Playin > Drums > Space > Take You Home > Miracle > Dark Star > Attics > Playin' ... Bid You Goodnight Encore ! night we are talking about here.  Basically, in a nutshell - This ! here was the night that the Band just Smoked !!! as a gift-wrapped Thank You to the New York Metro Area Dead Fan Faithful !!!  My point being, it was basically the " Hampton " delivery specifically intended for New York !  Where obviously the Band Always ! wanted to Deliver the Goods !!!  In fact, I remember one of my Tour Buddies telling me that he thought Hampton was really a ' rehersal ' for this plan to drop this Warlocks-Magic ! right in New York ... but, Hampton started to Groove ! so darn nicely ... I don't know, but I'd take this Fall Tour '89 caliber stuff any day !!  The Goods Delivered Huge !!! by the Good Ol' ... " Warlocks " !!!  Ha !  Well Bobby, definitely a Happy 42nd on this Scorcher of a Show Day !!!  And, Thank You for that as We ! are Grateful!!!  Oh, and one little last thing here - you might know this 10/16/89 Show much better by its other familiar name ... " Nightfall Of Diamonds " !!!!!!!  This stuff is ineeed, the Real G.D. Deal ! ...  and here in-deed is The ! Pass --- Enjoy !!!!!!!!!
