A fine Italian designer pepper mill. By Tre Spade. With a dark wooden body and a silver-plated head, fins, and tail. Pepper is placed in the body through an opening under the fin on top. The tail turns to grind the pepper that is released though the mouth. Marked the mechanism in the mouth: Tre Spade Garantito and with the Tre Spade mark. Simply a wonderful, whimsical pepper mill! Date: Late 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Condition Details: There are some losses and scratches to the wood near the opening on the back. There is some light wear and areas of persistent tarnish to the silverplating.
