About Lt. Warren G Straley:

Great story behind this fighter pilot ... Lt. Warren G Straley served in several theaters in WW2 which was not common. He was combat fighter pilots in the European theater and instructor serving in the 78th FIGHTER GROUP, 84th FIGHTER SQUADRON. I know that he received citations for flying missions over Germany.

Captain Straley was also in the Royal Canadian Air Force prior to becoming a Army Air Corps pilot. He was born in Ohio in 1920 so why he was with the Royal Canadian Air Force may be because he wanted to fight before the US entered the war, but I’m not sure.

You will find many photos of Captain  on the Internet if you search: “84th Fighter Squadron Photos” and “Warren Gamaliel Straley American Air Museum in Britain” Also there are many documents available on the internet relating to a crash landing he made in 1943 when he was with the 84th Fighter squadron, Duxford England. Search: “Accident report 1943 Straley, Capt. Warren G.”

What you will get:

You will get the two original documents as pictured, one hand signed by Capt. Straley. Also two small photos of him and some facsimile documents of other documents.
