AUCTION NOT OPEN TO BIDDERS FROM CA, OR, WA, or HI

Acer oliverianum 'Nakahara beni' is an EXTREMELY new and rare cultivar of Oliver Maple.  Oliver Maple is a small deciduous maple that typically grows 15-30' tall and is native to valleys and forests in central southeastern China.  It is a relative to the more common Acer palmatum.  'Nakahara beni' is a selection of Oliver Maple that leafs out a pinkish orange color in the spring, which turns to a crimson color.  During the summer, the leaf color changes to a greenish with reddish new growth.  In the fall, the leaves turn a combination of orange and red.   This is an extremely rare cultivar that is just becoming available for retail purchase in the USA.

You are bidding on the actual tree photographed.  It is a nicely branched 3 year old grafted tree.   The approximate height of this tree is 34" (inches) and the width is 23” (inches).     NOTE:   THIS PARTICULAR TREE HAS BEEN GROWING IN A SHADED GREENHOUSE, SO THE SPRING RED COLOR APPEARS ALMOST ENTIRELY GREEN.   ONCE IT IS PLANTED IN A SUNNY OR PARTIAL SHADE SPOT IN THE LANDSCAPE, THE SPRING RED COLORS WILL RETURN.  This tree is just leafing out for the spring!  We can hold this tree for several weeks if you cannot receive it due to cold temperatures.  This tree will ship in it's 1-gallon container.

This auction is only open to United States bidders.  Also, due to phytosanitary restriction regulations, we do not ship to Oregon, California, Washington state, or Hawaii.  Please do not bid if you do not live in the U.S. or if you live in one of those three states.  Also, please not that a 7% sales tax will be applied to bidders from the state of New Jersey.  No sales tax will be applied to buyers outside of New Jersey.

We are experienced growers of rare and unusual trees.  Bid with confidence.  We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  If for any reason you are unhappy with the tree when you receive it, simply return it on a Monday or Tuesday of the week following your receipt of the tree, in its original condition, and we'll reimburse the purchase price (not to include original or return shipping/handling costs incurred).
