This is the long and thin short sleeved made in South Africa player issue version with reinforced shoulders which was made of much thicker stronger cotton than the replica versions sold in the UK and Europe and an altogether more authentic garment.

This was the home design worn by South Africa at the 1999 World Cup held in France where South Africa finished third having beaten England in the quarter finals and is in South Africa's traditional home colours of dark green and gold.
