The artist's use of paper, pencil, and watercolor brings the ducks to life on an 11-inch length X 9 1/2-inch width fabric paper. The drawing itself measures 9” X 6 1/2. The piece is signed by the artist. Sherrie’s signature is beautiful in its own right. The frame was removed and the back of the piece is signed “Ruddy Ducks, 31%”.

This piece was acquired on The Big Island of Hawaii. Sherri Russell is an acclaimed waterfowl artist boasting (30) published state and (1) federal duck stamp. While researching Sherrie I was delighted to read about her connections to my home state of Wisconsin. Her work is rare to be found in authentic form.

This preowned piece has condition issues, to include evidence of past framing along with residual tape that was used to center the piece on the matte. Please view the photos which represent the condition well. The piece was originally framed under glass. I removed the frame due to its instability and thereby discovered the writing on the back.
