You are bidding on a scarce, square ROEHLING & SCHULTZ cabin whiskey bottle from Chicago, Illinois. Dating between 1880-1895,   it is brown in color and stands 9-1/2" tall by 3-1/4" square. It is blown in mold and has a hand tooled square collar, long neck, flat panels, rounded corners, shingled roof, and a smooth cupped base. It is embossed in standard block letters near the heel and reads as follows:

ROEHLING & SCHULTZ, INC., CHICAGO

This obscure square whiskey is is outstanding condition with no cracks, chips or damage.

Square tall cabin form, medium amber, tooled square collared mouth - smooth base, ht. 9 5/8 inches; (outstanding, undamaged condition). This would fit in well with a run of figural cabin bitters bottles. Fine condition.
