Maker: This outstanding cup and scalloped saucer is by Hungary's flagship china maker Herend. Located in the ancient city of the same name, the factory has been producing exquisite and highly coveted luxury china since 1826.

Design: The set is in the beautiful pattern called Queen Victoria, one of the company's most famous and popular designs. It has been produced in various forms since it was presented to Queen Victoria at the London World Exhibition of 1851. It is still in production.

Elegant, finely detailed and utterly gorgeous, with superbly hand painted and vividly colored flowers, leaves and butterflies, the green trimmed set would make a powerful statement of good taste on any table.

Marks: The modern blue Herend back stamp and the shape number 1726 are on the back of both pieces. The saucer includes the designation VBO, an abbreviation of the pattern name in French: Victoria avec Bord en Or (Victoria with gold border).

Size: The cup is 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer is 5 3/8 inches wide and 1 inch tall. The set weighs 7.7 ounces.

Condition: The saucer is in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, repairs or wear.

The cup has two chips on the upper edge and a crack in the handle. These are shown in the photos with the red arrows.

The price reflects the condition of both pieces.
