This rare wooden matryoshka cat doll from the USSR/Russian Federation is a must-have for collectors. The handmade doll features a Daddy cat with 8 kittens nested inside and was typically given to Russian children to help them learn how to count. Daddy stands 6.5" tall and the kittens 2" each. There is a USSR  paper stamp on the bottom ranging in size from 6.5" to 2". Its cultural significance as a traditional Russian toy makes it a unique and valuable addition to any collection. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind piece.

This item is in very good vintage condition. Some paint fading on the Daddy Cat and minor wear and tear as would be expected on a hand painted wooden children's toy of this vintage.
