This tube radio belonged to my Grand Father who owned a radio repair business for 50+ years, He had a massive radio collection of over 300 fully restored tube radios including this Montgomery Wards Airline Model 62-288. As you can see it has been well cared for and has a Beautiful Bakelite Case with intricate detail. The dial and volume knobs both turn smoothly. The cloth covered electrical cord and bakelite electrical plug are both in great shape. The dial lamp and bright green "Magic" Tuning Eye both work as they should. All of the push buttons work but will need to be set to your stations as I will send along instructions on how to set them. I was able to get all the stations very good in my area using a long wire antenna but you may need to add a longer wire antenna depending on your location. The radio measures 13" inches wide, 7" inches deep and 8 1//4" inches high. This Tube Radio is Outstanding and it is extremely hard to find these in this condition anymore. I properly pack every item I list and this radio will be wrapped properly and double boxed for safe shipping.
