Dick Bartley with another amazing show, this time with the spotlight on 1969, then Aretha!  Hour One is The Very Best of March 1969, Hour Two is called The Hits & Headlines of March 1969.  It was a great year for the hits, and Dick has 'em here from Proud Mary by CCR to Everyday People by Sly & The Family Stone.  Hours 3 & 4 feature Aretha Franklin, as mentioned, and she would live 15 years after this show aired.  All her biggest hits are here, from Baby I Love You to (of course) Respect!  Tracks 7-10 are clean, high quality hits which were provided for affiliate radio stations.  Cut 7 is Eyes Of A New York Woman by B.J. Thomas, then for whatever reason (a request, I believe) we get a "Three-Pack" of the song Volare, by Domenico Modugno, Bobby Rydell, and Dean Martin.  This show was scheduled to air the weekend of March 29-30, 2003, and we can only assume it did because, oops!  The affidavit stations were required to fill out and send back is still in the package.  Interesting!  In any case, the CDs are mint, the documents clean and unmarked.
