Traditionally Tongan men would carry their stool to a chief's court for sitting during community trials. These stools are African heirlooms that are passed down from generation to generation and it has been said that a stool can tell a lot about the owner and his status in the community just by looking at his stool.

This is a collectable piece that is made out of one solid piece of wood and often comes in geometric in design. It has a short height and study structure however due to its age it is not recommended for sitting.

This makes a wonderful a unique addition to home decor as well as being a great gift to someone.
