Beautiful Summaron 35mm 2.8 lens up for grabs! I’m slimming down my collection a bit and I’d like to find this one a new home. Fresh CLA by Youxin Ye has this lens in top optical and mechanical condition as well as nearly mint cosmetics.

Cosmetically it shows only the most faint signs of use in the chrome seen under extreme bright light. Hard to even capture on camera. As someone who is picky about my Leica lenses I find this one to be in the top 5 percentile for cosmetics. Shouldn’t disappoint.

Youxin Ye just did a full CLA and optically it is pristine with no haze, fungus, separation, scratches, etc. The coatings and clean and clear, excellent light transmission with beautiful rendering and sharpness. A perfect performer.

Mechanically perfect with smooth focus, infinity lock and aperture controls. Aperture has clean clicks and the blades and clean and beautiful to see.

This lens can be shot at the entire range, with the 2.8-4 having beautiful character and rendering and anything beyond that gaining contrast and sharpness across the frame. A beautiful lens that can be used artistically but also dependably for sharpness and flat field of view. Multi purpose and pocketable.
