Early 1900s original Dayak Pacific Islander tribal shaman’s box of hand carved wood, with original curved lid and cords suspending ornamentation comprised of two coins, one possibly silver, and a handmade bead. The coins could have been added to the piece when it was made, or sometime after. Beautiful patina, solid and in overall good condition. One of the coins is a Dutch coin with Queen Wilhelmina, dated 1929, that appears to be silver. The other coin is smaller and worn flat, so difficult to identify. Height is just slightly over 8 1/2 inches, and 2 1/8 inches in diameter.
