The dress is a beautiful red colour and was made by Squirrel in Hangzhou, China. 

Size M (I would estimate UK size 10-12) and dates from the 1980s, making it a true vintage piece.

Since buying it in 1998 I have never worn it and it's been carefully stored.

Included are two signed letters from Joanna Lumley authenticating the dress. In the first note (dated April 1994) she says she bought it ten years previously (1984) while visiting Kuala Lumpur to write a travel piece about Somerset Maugham.
