*Up for sale here is a scarce Ball Perfect Mason "error jar". There is no cross bar with the letter "A", as clearly seen here, with the bold crisp embossing. This quart "Ball blue" jar, is in excellent condition, with some slight base wear is all. No chips, pings or no other wear on the jar. See pictures as they tell the best story. 

*It is boldly embossed, as it reads ~ "BALL / PERFECT / MASON". It has the beaded neck seal. On the base there is an embossed underlined number "5". This sparkling clean quart jar measures 7 1/8 inches, to the top of its original zinc lined lid, and 3 7/8 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with this example. And thanks for looking.
