This is our Great News plan. It is the same plan that is included in our Great News kit and is a 2 sheet plan showing the model full size to allow the model to be built over the plans in the traditional way.

Note : This sale is for one set of PLANS for the Great News    NOT THE FINISHED MODEL

The coloured picture shows our prototype Great News built circa 1989 by Ray Harrison. It was covered with 'solartex' and powered by an OS 40 four stroke glow motor.

The second picture shows the fuselage plan, the wing plan is similar and comes on a seperate sheet. The plans set consists of both fuselage and wing sheets.

The Great News is a 72 inch wingspan model that is usually flown with a .30 to .40 size glow motor and 3 channel radio control. This model can be converted to electric power but details are not shown on the plan.

The plans are folded and posted in a large envelope.
