How To Affix
Ensure surface is clean, dry, oil, fibre and dust free. If in doubt, clean using a solvent cleaner or strong detergent and allow to dry thoroughly. Alternatively, use a suitable primer or apply a layer of PVA adhesive and allow suffient drying time. If undertaking work at temperatures below 5degC, gently warm surface area. Carefully peel off backing sheet and accurately align sign BEFORE affixing to surface. Starting at one end, attach sign and gently push down along contact point, working along length until the whole sign has been attached. Then, using a hard roller or weighted pad, push hard down on sign from middle to outer edges, ensuring no pockets of air remain and that edges are firmly affixed. Allow to set for a minimum of 24 hours before allowing heavy traffic or exposure to moisture. If necessary, apply thin coat of varnish or lacquer along edges only, to avoid abrasion and lifting or peeling off
