This auction is for a pack of 24 butterfly cupcake / cake toppers, that each measure approx 4.5 cms or 1.75 inches in diameter - measured diagonal across the butterfly.

The toppers are made from 100% edible rice paper and ink.

We use a more flexible rice wafer paper for our butterflies, in order that they can be bent in the middle for that inflight position/look. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Simply CUT around the design using clean sharp scissors or a craft knife.

Place the butterfly onto your cupcakes or cakes using either frosting or royal icing, suitable for use with icing, marzipan and buttercream/frosting.

They also look great stood up in your buttercream swirl, or layered with a disc of rolled out fondant icing.

Due to the slightly transparent nature of rice paper some colours will vary from the colour you see on the advertised image, but once placed into position, the colour will show brighter – due to no light passing from behind.

Please be aware that rice paper is sensitive to moisture, excessive moisture in your buttercream/topping can cause the paper to curl or dissolve
