This movement uses only ONE hand.

Repair, replace, or make your own 7-Day or 24-hour one hand clock. This quartex movement can easily be converted to either a 7-DAY or a 24 HOUR movement with a convenient switch on the back.  It takes 7 days (one week) for the "single" hand to  rotate around the dial one time if the switch is set to the DAY position. If used as a 24-hour movement, it will take 24 hours for the one hand to rotate if set in the 24-hour mode.  This movement also has two wires on top. A black "-" and one red "+" for a remote battery if desired to use.  If you choose to NOT use a remote battery, you may cut or ignore the wires and place one AA battery in the back of movement.
