An Attack Squadron 72 (VA-72) A-7E Corsair aircraft heads for its target in Iraq with a load of eight Mark 82 500-pound bombs during Operation Desert Storm.  The aircraft is also armed with an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile on its fuselage cheek-position point.  VA-72 is based aboard the aircraft carrier USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV-67) in the Red Sea.
