The objective 2 (o2) is an open source headphone amplifier designed by NwAvGuy with emphasis on benchmark performance at a low cost. This version 2 of the popular Mayflower Electronics headphone amp includes upgrades and extra's from the previous version.

This amp will drive any headphones from 16ohm to 600 ohm headphones via the switchable gain button which comes as standard with 2x and 6.5x gain settings.

Differences from the standard version include an all black enclosure, with a matte black, brushed aluminium front panel, and a black volume knob. Keeping with tradition the amp will include a 120V US standard A/C adapter.
