Being pulled through the water or gliding through the water while hanging onto a Swim Bar provides vestibular stimulation to visually impaired children. Assists "floaters" to maintain a stable position in water.

While floating on stomach and holding Swim Bar, swimmer has opportunity to strengthen muscles in neck, back, shoulders and hips. Swimmer can also rest with arms over bar. This provides extra support under swimmer's shoulders and make position in water easier to tolerate.
