The image of long life is a traditional Tibetan motif.  It depicts a charming and tranquil place.  A benevolent, old man with high forehead and a long white beard stands with his japa mala in one hand and the other resting on the head of a deer.  There is a hot spring flowing down from the Stone Mountain behind him, flowing eternally for good health.  The tree beside him is deeply rooted in the earth and flourishing with green leaves. This is a sacred place of abundance, visited by cranes, and protected by the old man.

These symbols of longevity inspire us to cherish all life on earth and sustain it in a harmonious way in order to maintain ecological balance.

This Long Life wall hanging is 32 1/2" high (with fringe) by 21" wide.
