1/4" Unc x 20mm Headed Hex Drive Screw In Threaded Insert, made from high quality Zinc Alloy (tested to meet industry torque and tensile standards) and plated to provide decorative finish and good corrosion resistance. Suitable for use in wood/chipboard and some composites.
1/4" Unc is an American thread size, which is also compatible with BSW, WHT internal threads as same threads per inch (20).
Simply drill a hole between 8.7 - 9.1mm hole (dependent upon base material) and screw the inserts in (using a 6mm allen key) to provide a permanent 1/4" Unc thread in your base material.
