A little info on "expiration dates" on ink.  The "expiration date" is actually a "warranty ends" date.  I personally know that these last for years past the warranty end date.  Manufacturers such as Canon and Lexmark don't even print dates on their ink products as it does not make a difference in the quality of the print.  In fact, after a class-action lawsuit a few years back, Hewlett Packard was required to stop using expiration dates on its ink!
