This cable unlocks the hidden AUX function included in the factory BMW E46 headunit. Unlike other iPod/iPhone connectivity solutions this item WILL NOT remove the CD stacker capabilities of your car!
This cable allows you to connect an external audio source (ie DVD player, MD player, iPod, iPhone, Zune, Samsung, laptops, MP3 and MP4 players), etc. on your BMW Business CD Player. Anything which has a 3.5mm jack will plug in and work with your existing headunit!
You will need to remove the radio to fit this kit to your car, but this won't require any specialist tools and info
