Features of Anatomic Shoes -
  • Soft leather upper for maximum softness with minimal chemicals. Naturally treated, extremely soft full grain leather is used to create an anatomic shoe. Natural leather allows  perspiration to be absorbed and keeps feet cool as air can easily pass through. This leather is made with a minimum amount of chemicals giving a very natural feel and appearance.
  • Cushioned foot bed for absolute comfort. The foot bed consists of three layers. It has a superfine and supersoft lining made from genuine sheepskin. Underneath are two layers of foam and latex to give the shoe resistance and flexibility. Under this there is a patented antibacterial layer for maximum breathability and moisture absorption to help feet stay fresher for longer.
  • Super hinged insole for extra flexibility. The next layer is the leather hinged insole that's so flexible, it can be bent again and again without breaking.This follows your natural foot movement ad also cushions your feet while walking.
  • Flexible rubber gel sole for support and resistance. Creates a softer, bouncy, non slippery walking experience. The leather welt helps make the shoe more flexible, comfortable and look great.
  • Specially developed thread. Even their high quality sewing tread has been specially created. It’s resistant to discoloration and waxed to help prevent water penetration. The shoes are stitched together with one continuous stitch through all the layers, using the traditional McKay method. The sewing machines have been developed specially for this purpose and are pretty unique to the Anatomic company.
Anatomic Gel Technology
This unique Gel Technology provides unrivaled flexibility and breathability. Ensuring total underfoot comfort from the moment you put them on your feet until you reluctantly take them of at the end of the day. A leather hinged insole is used within the shoes to allow for a cushioned, flexible shoe that moves with the foot without breaking. This provides continued comfort throughout the day. The insole is divided up into four components -
  • A double layer of polyurethane foam which gives the shoe a memory, allowing it to return o its original shape after wear
  • Double layer of latex within this polyurethane layer which gives he insole additional resistance.
  • Antibacterial fabric to maintain a healthy environment for the foot
  • Layer of sheepskin for insulation and comfort.
This rubber gel sole is made from a mixture of rubber and a special gel, which provides the shoes with flexibility resistance for comfortable walking with non-slip properties. The thread used for the Anatomic Gel technology shoes is one of exceptional quality,being discoloration resistant and waxed to help reduce any ay penetration on water.
