We are 3rd Generation Tradesman, qualified in Painting and Decorating, Plastering and Carpentry. We felt the need for an online store that provides you with trade knowledge and products so you can get the job done right the first time.We can't count how many times we have had to come in and fix a job because the owner started it themselves, but they weren't happy with the end result, mainly due to wrong information and tools given from leading hardware and trade stores.

Shipping

We aim to have all orders processed and shipped on the same business day if placed and payment cleared before 2pm. All orders placed and payment cleared after this time will be processed and shipped the following business day.
In the event where these times cannot be adhered to, we will be in contact with you to notify you of an estimated time for delivery.
We are happy to combine postage, so please contact us prior to payment so we can consolidate the shipping costs. An amended invoice will be sent through, and once received, then payment can be made.
Please note that when paying by PayPal eCheque, payment can take several business days to clear. Orders will not be processed and shipped until payment has cleared.
We send our orders through Australia Post and Road Couriers depending on the size and the item. Once shipped, orders will be delivered approximately within 1-3 days to metro cities in QLD, NSW and VIC. All other Australian areas may take between 2-6 days and slightly longer for rural/regional areas. Bulky or heavy items may take between 1-7 days. International orders may take slightly longer. These delivery times are a guideline only and DIY Invasion will not be held responsible for late deliveries, loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
Please ensure that the address that you provide is correct, as DIY Invasion will take no responsibility for any losses, theft or damages that may occur as a result.
Returns
DIY INVASION - For all your Trade and Do-It-Yourself Needs!
To return or exchange an item, you must notify DIY Invasion within 30 days of receiving your order, however please choose carefully as we do not refund or exchange for simply changing of mind or wrong selection. If on the very rare occasion you happen to receive an order that is incorrect from what you purchased, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving and we will do everything that we can to ensure that your correct order is sent out immediately.
We are happy to refund or exchange when the item you received is wrongly described, does not do what its intended to do, different from sample shown, damaged upon delivery or faulty and covered by a manufacturer?s warranty.
In any of the above situations, please take photos of what you received, how you received it and the packaging that you received it in. By sending these through at the time of letting us know, will speed up this process.
DIY Invasion will take no responsibility for the return of the items, including the cost for return shipping, unless the item is faulty, so we suggest that you send the items back via registered post. Please ensure that when returning your item, it is packaged securely, as we will not accept them if damaged.
All items to be returned must be in their original packaging, unused and in a resellable condition, unless faulty. Any items that are deemed in unacceptable condition will not be refunded or exchanged.
Refunds: Once items have been received, we will gladly refund the amount charged, less the shipping costs, unless faulty in which case the full amount will be refunded.
Exchanges: Once items have been received, we will gladly exchange the item, upon payment of extra shipping, unless faulty, in which case no shipping costs will be applicable.
If you have a product that is faulty, is covered by a manufacturer?s warranty and it is still within the warranty period, please contact our customer service team, before sending back.
All warranties are that of the manufacturer and not DIY Invasion. Some manufacturers require the faulty item to be assessed before action can be taken. If the item is deemed faulty, depending on the manufacturer?s warranty terms, the item may be repaired, replaced or money refunded.
This process can take up to 2 weeks, but we will keep you informed along the way. Once warranty has been approved, DIY Invasion will aim to have the refund processed or a replacement sent within 24 hours.
